Abdul Ghafoor Durrani is from Helmand province, southern Afghanistan. Durrani achieved entry into the highly sought-after Engineering Faculty of Helmand University and based that, won a scholarship to India’s Maharashtra University where he completed his BBA degree. He has extensive backgrounds as an educationalist in Helmand province, including serving with the Department of Refugees and Repatriation and literacy programs. He has participated in numerous short-term personal development workshops.   

Durrani is a dutiful, dynamic young manager. He has played a leading role in the development of Helmand Opportunity Center and has an excellent track record of achievement within the Afghan Opportunity Center organisation.
